I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching a variety of different subjects. I graduated from George Fox University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Additionally, I also graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a master's degree in Divinity. I am currently working towards a PhD in Environmental Studies. As I have experience in many different areas, I am an ideal tutor. I am comfortable tutoring students in Religion, Social Science, Politics, Math, Science, History, and Humanities. My ability to edit is one of my most valuable skills. I like to read others' writing and assist them in creating a completed draft that conveys their intended message clearly. I am currently working as an adjunct professor, which helps me understand exactly what professors are looking for when it comes to college level essays. My goal as a tutor is to get to know my students as people. I like to understand what interests them and what their goals and passions are. This enables me to connect what they're learning to what they are interested in. In addition to helping students edit and write essays, I am also able to help students prepare for standardized tests. In my free time, I like to run, hike, bike, garden, read, watch sci-fi, drink coffee, and eat chocolate.
